I have been involved in the field of clinical psychology in various capacities since 1978. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and couples both in public and private settings. Throughout my experiences, I have been reminded again and again how much I truly enjoy my work and feel very honored to be able to meet with clients and provide a supportive environment.

Highlights of Dr. Cahir's Professional Career:

Dr. Cahir's early professional experiences were in New York City where she was a researcher at The Bank Street College of Education, while providing clincal services at The Metropolitan Hospital, Department of Psychiatry, and The Post Graduate Center for Mental Health. Her graduate training in clinical psychology at GSU brought her to Atlanta, GA and since 1994 she has been involved in various private practice settings, both under supervision, and eventually as a fully licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Cahir is a full member of the Georgia Psychological Association.
